A contemporary espresso blend suited to black and milk drinks. Creamy milk chocolate with orange and dark berry flavours.
Goldstone Espresso is our flagship blend, served everyday in our cafés across Brighton and featuring the producers we have the closest and longest relationships with.
This latest edition features washed coffees from Guatemala and Rwanda and a natural process from Burundi.
From eastern Guatemala is one of our all time favourite coffees, Santa Ana La Huerta, owned by Rony Asensio in the high Sierra de la Minas. We have been buying from Rony for four years now and his coffee gets better every single year as he never stops working to improve his farming and processing techniques. Rony invested heavily in a covered dryer two years ago and it has made his coffee go from strength to strength.
From Rwanda, a lovely coffee from Karambi Hills, a new washing station owned by Edmond Kanyamibwa. We have purchased coffee from Edmond’s other station, Kanya in the past and Karambi is another standout station producing great coffee.
Finally, we have a natural process coffee from the Nemba washing station in Kayanza, Burundi. High quality natural process coffees are still pretty new and hard to find in Burundi and we are absolutely in love with this coffee from Nemba.
Goldstone is a contemporary espresso blend, roasted relatively lightly to preserve the complexity of these great coffees and with enough balance and depth from the natural process component to pair beautifully with milk.
